Step-by-Step Getting Started Guide

How to Connect Your Facebook Page to SocialPilot

Whether you are connecting your first business page or configuring Meta Graph API developer webhooks, this step-by-step guide explains every click in plain, simple English.

Easiest Method (No Technical Skills Required)

1-Click Meta OAuth Connection

Meta OAuth is like logging in with Google. You click 1 button, sign into Facebook, check a box next to your page, and Facebook safely hands permission to SocialPilot.

1

Make Sure You Are an Admin of the Facebook Page

Open Facebook on your phone or browser and verify that your personal Facebook account has Admin or Editor rights on the page you want to connect.

2

Set Redirect URI in Meta Developer Dashboard (App Owners Only)

If you own the Meta App, open the Meta Developer Portal , select your App, go to Facebook Login -> Settings, and enter this exact Redirect URL:

https://socialpilot.tech/channels
3

Click "Connect via Meta OAuth" in SocialPilot

  1. Go to Connected Channels (/channels) inside SocialPilot.
  2. Click the big blue button that says "Connect via Meta OAuth".
  3. A Facebook popup window will appear asking: "Continue as [Your Name]?" -> Click Continue.
  4. Check the box next to your Facebook Page title.
  5. Keep all permission switches set to YES and click Done.
  6. Click OK on the final success screen.
4

Finalize Page Sync

SocialPilot will automatically exchange the Meta code for a 60-day Page Access Token, register real-time webhooks, and discover linked Instagram accounts. Click "Sync Page" or "Connect All" on the modal card. Your page is now live!
